ABOUT
Hi! My name is Vanessa Teixeira. I am a 4th Grade Teacher at Northwood Elementary School. This is my 9th year teaching elementary school, all here at Northwood.
I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and a 3/4 combo class. Prior to teaching elementary school, I taught preschool (3 and 4 year olds). I attended San Jose public schools, and graduated with both my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Jose State University, Go Spartans!
I got married in April 2019. My husband and I have a dog, a rescue pup named Luna! We enjoy traveling, exercise, outdoor activities, going to the movie theater, and spending time with our family and friends.
Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to a long career in the field. I believe that all children have the ability to learn. I look forward to working with you and your child, and promise to make this a wonderful year!
